Where exactly are the servers?
In a Tier III data centre in Belgium, connected to multiple European carriers. Your data never leaves the EU and is fully covered by the GDPR and Belgian law.
How do billing and cancellation work?
By default we bill monthly, with a one-month minimum. Prefer yearly? Then you pay for eleven months and get the twelfth free. You can upgrade any time; we settle the difference pro rata. You can cancel monthly, with no notice period or penalty.
Can I up- or downgrade later?
Scaling up is always possible and live: more vCPU, RAM or disk in a few clicks. Shrinking a disk afterwards is not possible · that is a technical limitation of the underlying VMware platform. So choose your storage carefully up front.
Do you manage the server, or do I?
By default it is an unmanaged server: you are root, you decide everything. Prefer us to handle updates, monitoring and management? Managed care is available as an add-on. For that you do grant us access and provide the necessary keys · perfectly possible, and always on your initiative.
What if I need more than vs·max?
Then we build a custom configuration, up to 32 vCPU and 128 GB RAM, or a cluster of machines. Send us your use case and you have a proposal within a day.
Can I get help if I get stuck?
Absolutely. One thing to know: we hold no keys to your server · you are the only root. That is deliberate, for your privacy and security. So we cannot log in ourselves, but we are glad to think along and get you back on track with the right steps. So do keep your own access (your SSH keys) safe.
Can I add extra IP addresses or snapshots?
Every server comes with one IPv4 address and a full /64 IPv6 block. Add extra IPv4 addresses right away in the ordering wizard, or add them one by one later from your control panel. Snapshots work the same way: at checkout or whenever you need one.
